Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Home of IQ ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, IQ test, and training platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose; if anything is unclear, email privacy@homeofiq.com.

1. Data we collect

Data you give us. Your email address, your answers to test questions, and any information you add to your account or send to support.

Data created by using the Service. Your computed scores and cognitive profile, training activity and progress, and the time taken per question (used for scoring quality, not shown to anyone).

Data collected automatically. Device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, and referral source, including campaign or affiliate identifiers in the link that brought you here. Collected via cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

Payment data. Payments are handled by third-party processors (card networks, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal). They send us a confirmation and a payment token; we never see or store your full card number.

2. Why we use it

We use personal data to:

compute and deliver your results and certificate (performance of contract); manage your subscription, billing, and support requests (performance of contract); personalize your training plan based on your profile (performance of contract); send service emails about your account and, with your consent where required, product updates you can opt out of at any time (consent / legitimate interest); measure and improve the Service, including question calibration using aggregated, anonymized response data (legitimate interest); attribute signups to marketing campaigns and pay affiliate partners (legitimate interest); and prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest / legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, payment processors, and privacy-respecting analytics. Affiliate partners who referred you receive confirmation that a referral converted, never your name, email, or results. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your test progress, and analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. Where the law requires it, non-essential cookies are only set after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie settings.

5. How long we keep it

Account data, results, and training history are kept while your account exists and deleted or anonymized within 90 days of account deletion. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, access is restricted on a need-to-know basis, and we apply industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. International transfers

If data is processed outside the EU/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@homeofiq.com from the address tied to your account; we respond within 30 days. We never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will notify you by email or in the product before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
