Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Home of IQ website, IQ test, and training platform (together, the "Service"). By taking the test, creating an account, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription. By subscribing you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. The Service

Home of IQ provides an online cognitive assessment of 35 questions across four domains (logical, numerical, verbal, and spatial reasoning), a personal results report with an estimated IQ score and percentile, a shareable certificate, and ongoing brain-training exercises.

Your results are estimates produced by an automated scoring model and are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. They are not a professional, clinical, or psychometric evaluation, are not administered under standardized testing conditions, and must not be used for medical, educational, employment, or legal decisions. If you need a clinically valid assessment, consult a licensed psychologist.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including the email address your report is delivered to, and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are personal: one account per person, and you may not share access. We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Access to your full results and the training platform requires a paid subscription of $19.99 per month (plus applicable taxes). The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; there are no setup fees, trial conversions, or hidden renewals.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings in one click, or by emailing support@homeofiq.com. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as card networks, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal). We do not store your full card details.

5. Intellectual property and license

The Service, including test questions, scoring models, training content, branding, and software, is owned by or licensed to Home of IQ and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use while subscribed.

You may share your own certificate and results. You may not copy, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute test content or training materials, or use them to build a competing product or train machine-learning models.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt to access other users' data, use automated tools to take the test, or misrepresent your results as a clinical evaluation.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that scores are error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home of IQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms over time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel your subscription before the changes apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
